Sparkbottle Glassbeast

Description

An entry for a creature-designing contest that I’ll probably end up getting to keep.

Information on the sparkbottle glassbeast:
- It’s probably called something else, but sparkbottle glassbeast is one name for it… and it’s fun to say!
- It has a “chameleon property”. Any colored bit of its body conforms to the color of the liquid inside of it, even the big wires that serve as its limbs. This is due to the semi-organic makeup of its physical properties.
- The glass that makes up its body is very thick and normally doesn’t move, and is difficult to shatter. However, if the liquid inside of the glassbeast is heated up enough, the glass will be able to reshape itself and move organically for as long as the glassbeast can keep the intense boiling up.
- The wires that serve as the glassbeast’s limbs can move freely and fully support its weight, but the glassbeast only has two hands/feet. Each wire can plug into the handfeet, which can be filled and emptied by injecting fluids into the squishy toe-things. The glassbeast’s plugs are also compatible with certain other outlets, but it just has to try and see what fits.
- The glassbeast is powered by heating up any liquid placed inside of it. It can be filled and emptied via its tail, which usually emits colored smoke.
- Any fluid can be used to power the glassbeast, even water, but of course fluids with higher energy last longer.
- Glassbeasts can communicate with each other, or things that use the same form of communication. This form of communication is a high-pitched squealing that sounds like radio noise to most creatures, and is visually represented by changes in the sound-spikes on their mouths. However, if glassbeasts plug into something that emits sound on a normal frequency, they can communicate clearly to other beings.

EDIT
I didn't win, so I guess I get to keep them now!
