OK so here's a story: i was backstage after the "masquerade" scene, and i thought i saw someone behind me. i was like, "HOLY SHIT IT'S PHIL" but i looked around and NO ONE WAS THERE!!! spoooooky! ... well, it was funny if you were me.

the point of that story is, even a guy as puppy-like as phil can become shady and mysterious when he plays the phantom. or at least he can blend into the curtains.
